Yan retains UFC bantamweight title at UFC 333 and is promised a Rolls-Royce Cullinan
Petr Yan defended his UFC bantamweight title by unanimous decision against Merab Dvalishvili in their trilogy fight at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, earning a Fight of the Night bonus — and a promised Rolls-Royce Cullinan from a betting platform owner.
Petr Yan retained his UFC bantamweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 333 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, completing their trilogy and walking away with considerably more than just the belt.
Yan (21-5) and Dvalishvili (21-6) delivered a co-main event performance that earned both fighters $100,000 Fight of the Night bonuses. The trilogy bout settled a rivalry that had already produced two memorable contests, with Yan now holding the definitive edge.
Beyond the bonus, an X account identifying itself as the owner of betting platform 1win publicly promised the Russian champion a Rolls-Royce Cullinan in recognition of the win.
“Today Petr Yan once again proved why he is one of the best fighters in the world,” the account posted. “Behind such victories stand years of hard work, discipline and absolute dedication to his craft. At 1win, we always support those who strive to be first. For this victory, Petr will get a Rolls-Royce Cullinan from me. Well deserved.”
Yan acknowledged the gesture publicly, replying: “Thank you so much. One of the best gifts no doubt.”
The Cullinan is Rolls-Royce’s flagship SUV, with prices typically starting above $300,000. Whether the gift is formally delivered remains to be seen, but the exchange drew significant attention on social media in the hours following the fight.
Yan’s successful title defence at UFC 333 reinforces his standing as one of the premier fighters in the bantamweight division, with the trilogy win over Dvalishvili adding another chapter to what has become one of the more compelling rivalries in the weight class.
