Johnny Walker announced his move to heavyweight with a statement knockout, dropping Mick Parkin unconscious at 3:35 of the first round at UFC 332 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City on Saturday. The Brazilian secured a Thai clinch and drove a left knee into Parkin’s jaw, leaving the Englishman motionless on the canvas — a finish that earned Walker one of four $100,000 Performance of the Night bonuses on the card.

Damian Pinas was the night’s most efficient finisher, needing just 75 seconds to put away Andrey Pulyaev. A right uppercut sent Pulyaev to the floor and pushed Pinas’ record to 11-1. The rising middleweight wasted little time calling for a Top-10 opponent in his post-fight remarks.

Imanol Rodriguez kept his unbeaten record intact with a first-round stoppage of Alden Coria. Rodriguez used sharp hand speed to control the early exchanges before a front kick to the body dropped Coria and prompted the referee to wave it off at 3:11. The finish moved Rodriguez to 8-0.

Roman Kopylov rounded out the bonus winners by halting Ateba Abega Gautier’s momentum in brutal fashion. Kopylov staggered Gautier with a straight left, put him on the canvas, and closed the show with hammerfists at 3:12 of the opening round.

All four bonuses were awarded for first-round finishes, making UFC 332 a particularly sharp night for fighters who came to end things early.
