Sky Sports has rolled out a suite of new features for the 2026-27 Premier League season, headlined by a multiview tool and a near-live broadcast mode aimed at reducing the spoiler problem that plagues second-screen sports viewing. Viewers can switch the audio focus between feeds and adjust the on-screen layout without leaving the stream — a practical upgrade for weekends when football, cricket, tennis, and golf overlap.

Alongside that, Sky has launched Sky Real Time across its Sky Sports Football, Sky Sports+ and Sky Sports Premier League channels. The mode is designed to cut the broadcast delay to within seconds of live action, meaning viewers should see goals and key moments almost as they happen rather than reading about them in a push notification first.

A new Sports Hub sits alongside live broadcasts, surfacing live scores, schedules, league tables, clips, and highlights in a side panel. A dedicated Team Page aggregates news and highlights for a supporter’s chosen club, while a Live Sports Rail keeps upcoming fixtures visible at a glance.

Sky has confirmed it will broadcast approximately 1,500 sporting events across the season, with at least 215 of those Premier League matches. The new features are available to Sky Glass and Sky Stream subscribers.

The 2026-27 Premier League campaign is already under way, with an early standout being a 2-2 draw between Newcastle and Liverpool.
