Six fans from five countries compete for Heineken's all-expenses F1 season ticket
After hundreds of global applications, Heineken and Formula 1 have whittled the field down to six finalists from the UK, New Zealand, Singapore, Czechia and the USA. F1 fans can now vote to decide who receives free travel, accommodation and race passes for every round of the 2026 season.
Six F1 fans from five countries are now competing for the Heineken x F1 Season Ticket — a prize that covers free travel, accommodation and paddock passes for every race on the 2026 calendar. After receiving hundreds of applications, Heineken has selected its shortlist and opened public voting to determine the winner.
The competition asked fans worldwide to explain why they, above anyone else, deserve a full season on the road with Formula 1. Heineken framed the initiative around the idea that a shared passion for the sport creates genuine friendships, a concept it has branded ‘Fans Have More Friends.’
The current ticket-holder, Brandon Burgess, has been documenting his 2025 season to an audience of nearly 150,000 followers across his social channels. With his year almost complete, attention turns to who will take over for 2026.
The six finalists each bring a distinct story. Callum, from Scotland, has been a motorsport obsessive since childhood — he recalls mimicking Michael Schumacher in front of the television as a toddler — and plans to document the season through film photography. Fellow Briton India describes herself as a “completely ordinary fan” hoping to make next year “extraordinary,” and has invited other supporters to set her challenges at each race weekend.
From New Zealand, Dale says he wants to explore the culture and community behind every grand prix, promising to “meet the people who make it special and bring everyone along for the ride.” Lukas, based in Czechia, is taking a similarly interactive approach, offering fans the chance to act as his “team boss” by assigning him challenges throughout the season.
Joy, whose home race in Singapore took place earlier this month, wants to use the prize to experience the “excitement and sportsmanship” of F1 across different countries and cultures. Rounding out the shortlist is Jose from the USA, a fan drawn not only to the racing itself but also to the strategy and technical side of the sport.
Public voting is now open, with F1 fans worldwide able to cast their vote for whichever finalist they believe most deserves the prize.
