AS Saint-Étienne now knows its schedule for the 2026-2027 Ligue 2 season, after the LFP published the full championship calendar. The Greens will play a second consecutive season at this level, their promotion to Ligue 1 having been halted in the playoff final by OGC Nice (1-4 over two legs, on May 26 and 29).

Saint-Étienne will begin the campaign with an away trip to promoted FC Sochaux-Montbéliard on Saturday, August 8. The season will end at home on Saturday, May 22 against Pau FC. It is under the orders of new head coach Ian Cathro, tied to the club until 2028, that the Greens will attempt to return to the top flight.

The schedule features two notable double-headers to watch. Against FC Metz, AS Saint-Étienne will travel to Stade Saint-Symphorien on Friday, September 18 (Matchday 7), before hosting the Moselle side on Friday, February 12 (Matchday 21). The clashes against FC Nantes are scheduled for Fridays, October 23 (Matchday 10) and March 12 (Matchday 25).
