Liam Lawson has revealed a custom signature guitar in collaboration with Taylor Guitars, timed to coincide with a live music performance he will headline in Austin the week of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix.

The Racing Bulls driver will take the stage at Inn Cahoots in Austin on Thursday 22 October, reuniting with childhood bandmates — including his brother and two close friends — for a full live set. The show also features country singer-songwriters Jonny Capeci, Scoot Teasley, Jess Farren, Alison Nichols, and Drake Milligan.

To mark the occasion, Lawson and Taylor Guitars have produced the LL30 GS Mini Special Edition — a compact acoustic finished in a pink-to-white ombré, with his racing number 30 on the pickguard and a cartoon graphic from his F1 helmet visible through the soundhole.

“My very own Taylor Guitar feels crazy to say,” Lawson wrote on Instagram. “Been working on this one for a very long time, so stoked to see it come to life. The LL30 GS Mini is everything I’d want in my own guitar and shows a bit of my personality on and off the track. I dig it, and I hope you do too.”

The instrument will go on sale in the United States later this year, with Taylor Guitars confirming only a limited number will be produced. Lawson’s Instagram post announcing the collaboration had already surpassed 82,000 likes at the time of publication.

The New Zealander has long balanced his motorsport career with a passion for music, and the Austin event offers a rare public showcase of that side of his life. The United States Grand Prix itself runs at the Circuit of the Americas from 23 to 25 October.
