PSG loans Yoram Zague to Pafos for third consecutive loan spell
Paris Saint-Germain has officially loaned right-back Yoram Zague to Cypriot club Pafos FC until June 2027, with an option to buy. The 20-year-old academy product will reunite with David Luiz in Cyprus.
Paris Saint-Germain has officially loaned Yoram Zague to Pafos FC, a Cypriot club, until the end of the 2026-2027 season. The contract includes a purchase option. The 20-year-old right-back, who was absent from the squad for PSG’s first two Ligue 1 matches against Lens (1-0) and Rennes (2-2), is leaving Paris to continue his development abroad.
This is the third consecutive loan for the Paris academy product. Yoram Zague first experienced Danish football with FC Copenhagen, where he notably played in the Ligue des Champions, before joining KAS Eupen in Belgium last season. In total, he has made 23 appearances, scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists across these two spells.
Formed at PSG since the youth categories, Zague has also worn the France shirt in U17, U18 and U19 selections. In Cyprus, he will reunite with David Luiz, the former PSG defender between 2014 and 2017, who now plays for Pafos.
The sporting stakes are immediate for the Cypriot club: Pafos plays the Ligue Europa Conférence return playoff against Dinamo City on Thursday, following a first leg that ended in a 1-1 draw. Qualification would give Zague the prospect of playing European competition this season.
