Six people were stabbed and 24 individuals arrested during Arsenal’s Champions League victory parade in London on Sunday, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed.

The force deployed more than 500 officers across the event, supported by specialist search and drone teams. Despite the scale of the policing operation, investigations into the stabbings are ongoing.

In a statement, the Met thanked the vast majority of attendees for “celebrating responsibly” while confirming that enquiries into the violent incidents continue.
