Marion Rousse in the stands at Bollaert for Lens-Lorient, defeat follows
The director of the Tour de France Femmes attended Saturday the defeat of Lens against Lorient (0-1) with her son Nino, on the occasion of the third day of Ligue 1.
Marion Rousse did not bring luck to RC Lens. The director of the Tour de France Femmes went Saturday to the Bollaert-Delelis stadium to support her beloved club during the reception of Lorient, counting for the third day of Ligue 1. The Sang et Or lost 0-1 against the Merlus.
Native of Saint-Saulve, in the North, Rousse has always claimed her northern roots. Spotted and photographed in the stands by L’Équipe, she herself shared the photo on her social networks, adding several stories where her son Nino can be seen, whom she had with cyclist Julian Alaphilippe, recently retired from professional cycling.
Thanks to his mother’s fame, young Nino had the privilege of stepping on the Bollaert pitch a few hours before kick-off, before watching the match in the stands. Marion Rousse accompanied these images with an unequivocal comment: “Already a true Chtis.”
Maternal support was not enough to reverse the trend. This defeat is the second consecutive for Lens, who are in eleventh place in the Ligue 1 standings. The northerners will return to competition soon on Thursday, with a trip to Prague to face Slavia early in the evening.
