Manchester United and Manchester City have been handed their ball numbers ahead of the Carabao Cup fourth-round draw, scheduled for Wednesday, September 16 at approximately 10:15pm — immediately after the conclusion of United’s third-round match against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.

United are designated ball number 15, paired with Brighton, meaning whichever side advances from their third-round clash will enter the fourth-round draw under that number. City, meanwhile, carry ball number 16 alongside their third-round opponents Norwich City, with that tie set to be played at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday evening.

The draw features 16 balls in total, with several numbers still representing unresolved third-round ties. Ball 12 covers either Coventry City or Aston Villa, ball 13 either Everton or Wolverhampton Wanderers, and ball 14 either Fleetwood Town or Sheffield United. The remaining confirmed clubs include Arsenal (2), Chelsea (5), Liverpool (8), Newcastle United (9), and Bournemouth (1), among others.

The full list of ball numbers is as follows: 1 – AFC Bournemouth, 2 – Arsenal, 3 – Bradford City, 4 – Brentford, 5 – Chelsea, 6 – Crystal Palace, 7 – Fulham, 8 – Liverpool, 9 – Newcastle United, 10 – Peterborough United, 11 – Sunderland, 12 – Coventry City or Aston Villa, 13 – Everton or Wolverhampton Wanderers, 14 – Fleetwood Town or Sheffield United, 15 – Manchester United or Brighton, 16 – Manchester City or Norwich City.

All fourth-round fixtures are scheduled for the week commencing Monday, October 26, with official kickoff dates to be confirmed by the EFL shortly after the draw concludes.
