Bobby ‘King’ Green extended his late-career renaissance to four consecutive wins, stopping Terrance McKinney with one second remaining in the opening round at UFC 329 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 12.

McKinney, known for his relentless forward pressure, lived up to his ‘T.Wrecks’ nickname early, swarming Green and coming close to locking in a submission. The 39-year-old veteran escaped, regrouped, and then unloaded a sharp flurry of strikes to put McKinney away before the horn sounded — a come-from-behind finish that underlined Green’s experience and composure under pressure.

The victory opened the UFC 329 main card and added another chapter to what has become one of the more unlikely winning runs in the lightweight division. Green’s four-fight streak includes victories over Lance Gibson Jr., Daniel Zellhuber, Jeremy Stephens, and now McKinney.

Speaking after the fight, Green made clear he has no intention of slowing down.

“I told you my activity, and I’m on a roll. And I’m not playing. And I am gonna keep doing this thing that nobody’s ever seen. You know? And I might not be the Conor McGregor or the Max Holloway. But man, I am gonna make my own wave, I am gonna make my own sh*t going.”

For McKinney, 31, the defeat leaves him at 1-2 across his last three outings, a difficult stretch for a fighter who entered with genuine finishing power and the kind of aggressive style that has troubled opponents throughout his career.

Green, meanwhile, is proving that age is not the limiting factor many assumed it would be. Four straight wins at 39 in one of the UFC’s most competitive divisions is a statement in itself — and by his own account, he is only getting started.
