Khamidov and Do Nascimento added to PFL Chicago card headlined by Carmouche title rematch

Bantamweight contender Sarvarjon Khamidov (17-1) will face Rafael do Nascimento (13-3) at PFL's October 16 event in Chicago, joining a card topped by Liz Carmouche's undisputed women's flyweight title defence against Jena Bishop.

Sarvarjon Khamidov and Rafael do Nascimento have been confirmed for the Professional Fighters League’s October 16 card in Chicago, adding a bantamweight contest to a lineup already anchored by an undisputed women’s flyweight title fight between Liz Carmouche and Jena Bishop.

Khamidov enters at 17-1 following a second-round submission win over PFL tournament finalist Justin Wetzell in June — his first outing of 2026. A veteran of both Bellator MMA and the PFL, the Uzbek fighter has built a steady climb through the bantamweight division without a loss since early in his career.

Do Nascimento (13-3) also arrives on the back of a victory. The Legacy Fighting Alliance veteran made an immediate impression on his PFL debut, upsetting Lewis McGrillen-Evans by second-round submission. Both fighters carry momentum into what shapes up as a meaningful divisional matchup.

Earlier this week the promotion confirmed a heavyweight bout between Denis Goltsov and Maxwell Djantou Nana for the same card, continuing to flesh out the October event.

The headline contest between Carmouche and Bishop is a rematch of the 2025 PFL women’s flyweight tournament final, which Carmouche won by knockout. With the undisputed title on the line this time, Bishop will be looking to reverse that result and claim the belt outright.
