Artem Lobov has publicly accused Conor McGregor of orchestrating an arson attack on his car and sending someone to threaten his 60-year-old mother with a hammer, in a series of social media posts published Monday that reignited one of MMA’s most bitter personal feuds.

The accusations came months after the former training partners and close friends settled a civil lawsuit in April 2025. Lobov had filed the suit in 2022, alleging he was owed a significant share of profits from McGregor’s Proper No. 12 Irish Whiskey brand, which he claimed to have helped conceive. The settlement terms were not disclosed.

The outburst began when Lobov replied to a post about McGregor’s upcoming UFC fight — reportedly the last on his current contract — dismissing its significance. “Last fight happened many years ago, now it’s about supporting the habit,” Lobov wrote. “In my humble opinion, of course.” When McGregor supporters pushed back, Lobov escalated sharply, alleging that McGregor had mistreated his inner circle for years and attributing the behaviour to substance abuse.

“He took care of nobody, he f*cked over his coach and all his best friends Lee, Derek, Gerry Vegas, Charlie myself and others,” Lobov wrote. He alleged McGregor failed to honour financial agreements with multiple people in his camp, including paying his manager John a fraction of a promised five-percent cut from the Mayweather fight purse, firing a close friend weeks before Christmas, and underpaying The Mac Life’s founder for years.

“We all used to meet up and wonder why he does that to us and the conclusion we came to is that his drink and drug abuse brings out the worst in him,” Lobov continued. “Conor was my brother, I loved him like one. All the truth and facts will come out. Drink, drugs, and no accountability is what brought all the troubles into his life. All of this allegedly, of course.”

Lobov then made his most serious allegation directly, claiming McGregor “sent people to burn my car and threaten my 60-year-old mother with a hammer.” No further details about the alleged incidents — including dates or locations — were provided in the posts.

McGregor had not publicly responded to the accusations at the time of publication. The claims remain unverified, and Lobov himself appended the word “allegedly” to portions of his statements.
