Bruno Genesio is on the verge of becoming Olympique de Marseille’s new head coach. A two-year agreement with an optional third year has reportedly already been reached between the parties, though the official announcement remains pending several conditions, including UEFA’s decision on the club’s potential participation in the next Ligue Europa.

This appointment marks the end of the Habib Beye era, who took over at the Marseille club following Roberto De Zerbi’s departure during a particularly turbulent 2025-2026 season. The Senegalese manager is not expected to be retained.

Genesio will not come alone. Several members of his LOSC staff are expected to follow him to Marseille, notably Jérémie Bréchet and Dimitri Farbos, his direct collaborators at Lille.

Among other expected arrivals is Nicolas Dehon. According to La Provence, the goalkeeper coach has confirmed his departure from LOSC to join OM, a club he knows well having worked there alongside Didier Deschamps between 2010 and 2012.

On Lille’s side, Dehon’s departure has already been anticipated: LOSC has appointed Rémy Vercoutre to succeed him as goalkeeper coach.
