Defeat at Monaco, Injuries Piling Up: Marseille in Crisis by Matchday Two

Olympique de Marseille lost 2-0 away at Monaco on Sunday in Matchday Two of Ligue 1, and the performance immediately revived fears around a club already fragile before the transfer window closes.

Eight days after an encouraging victory against Strasbourg in the opening round, Marseille put on a far more worrying display in the Principality. Genesio has done two or three things in French football, he deserves some semblance of a team. It could be dramatic for Bruno Genesio. Any big coach could leave tonight. »
