Levan Chokheli will face Islam Dulatov at UFC Saudi Arabia on December 5, according to reporter Marcel Dorff. The welterweight matchup pits two fighters who each made emphatic first impressions in the promotion against one another.

Chokheli (15-3, 1 NC) needed just 23 seconds to stop Leon Shahbazyan in his UFC debut in June, making him one of the quickest finishers to enter the welterweight division in recent memory. The Georgian’s performance immediately raised his profile and has now earned him a second UFC assignment against a fellow unbeaten prospect within the organisation.

Dulatov (12-1) is no less dangerous. The German welterweight secured his UFC contract via Dana White’s Contender Series in 2024 and wasted little time making his mark, dropping Adam Fugitt with a left hook before finishing him with follow-up punches at 4:06 of the first round in July 2025. His path to this bout was not entirely smooth — a scheduled July fight against Wellington Turman was cancelled after Dulatov fell ill — but he arrives at UFC Saudi Arabia with momentum intact.

The card on December 5 is still taking shape at the top. Israel Adesanya versus Sharabutdin Magomedov has been reported as the targeted main event, though the promotion has yet to make an official announcement regarding the headliner.

With both Chokheli and Dulatov carrying first-round stoppages into the bout, the welterweight contest shapes up as one of the more explosive matchups on the card.
