Unbeaten Jacobe Smith faces UFC veteran Randy Brown at UFC Fight Night 292
Undefeated welterweight Jacobe Smith, fresh off a 92-second knockout at UFC 332, will reportedly meet Randy Brown — a 22-fight UFC veteran — at UFC Fight Night 292 on October 31 in Las Vegas.
Undefeated welterweight Jacobe Smith is set to face his stiffest test yet, with reporter Marcel Dorff revealing the 13-0 prospect will meet UFC veteran Randy Brown at UFC Fight Night 292 on October 31 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
Smith arrives on the back of a dominant first-round knockout of Bruce Whitehead at UFC 332 on October 3, needing just 92 seconds to push his professional record to 13-0. The 30-year-old has gone 4-0 since earning his UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series, and the matchup with Brown represents a significant step up in competition.
Brown has been a fixture in the UFC welterweight division since 2016, accumulating 22 appearances under the banner. Known as “Rude Boy”, the veteran is coming off back-to-back losses to Gabriel Bonfim and Kevin Holland, and will be looking to use his experience to derail Smith’s unbeaten run.
The welterweight clash is set to take place on a stacked Halloween card. The main event features a lightweight contest between Renato “Money” Moicano and Tom Nolan.
