Casemiro's esports company posts £900,000 in losses over two years after Spain exit
Casemiro's esports organisation, Case Esports, has accumulated roughly £902,000 in combined losses over its last two financial years, with the company recording zero core operational revenue in 2025 after winding down its Spanish operations.
Casemiro’s esports business has posted combined losses of approximately €1.05 million (£902,000) across its last two financial years, with the former Manchester United midfielder’s company generating no core operational revenue in 2025 following its withdrawal from the Spanish market.
Casemiro Sports Brasil SLU, which operates commercially as Case Esports, closed the 2025 financial year with a loss of €202,374 (£173,903), according to the latest financial statements. That follows a far heavier deficit of €842,900 (£724,317) recorded in 2024.
The company ceased operational activity in Spain in 2024 to redirect its focus toward the Brazilian market, a pivot that left it with zero core revenue in 2025, down from €90,345 (£77,634) the previous year. The business did record €52,800 (£45,371) under “other operating income” — more than triple the 2024 figure — though the annual accounts offered no detail on the source of that income.
Personnel costs remained the primary drag on the company’s finances. Staffing expenses for 2025 stood at €187,517 (£161,136) to maintain two employees still retained in Spain, a significant reduction from the €460,172 (£395,432) spent on staff in 2024. Other operating expenses fell sharply, dropping from €413,223 (£355,088) to €10,656 (£9,157).
The broader picture is more sobering. Since Casemiro founded the company in 2020 with the stated ambition of breaking even within a year, the venture has accumulated cumulative losses of more than €7 million (£6 million) through its Spanish operations, with those shortfalls covered by ongoing financial contributions from its members.
As of 31 December 2025, total assets for Casemiro Sports Brasil SLU stood at €1.5 million (£1.29 million), a 3.5 per cent year-on-year increase, including tangible fixed assets of roughly €750,000 (£645,000) and trade receivables of €475,831 (£408,888). Total equity was reported at €121,540 (£104,441), while current liabilities remained high at just under €1.4 million (£1.2 million), with short-term debts exceeding €1.5 million (£1.29 million).
Casemiro left Manchester United in the summer after two seasons at Old Trafford.
