Carmouche and Bishop make weight for PFL Chicago women's flyweight title rematch

Liz Carmouche and Jena Bishop are cleared to fight after both made weight without issue at the PFL Chicago official weigh-ins on Wednesday, setting the stage for a women’s flyweight title rematch on Friday, October 16.

Carmouche, the reigning champion, stepped on the scales at exactly 125 pounds, while Bishop came in at 124.6 pounds for the five-round main event. All 13 bouts on the card are confirmed after every fighter hit their official marks.

The pair first met in last year’s PFL championship fight, where Carmouche finished Bishop by knockout in the third round to claim the belt. Bishop has since gone 2-0, picking up a submission win over Ariane Lipski da Silva among those victories, and arrives confident of reversing the result.

Carmouche (26-8) remains one of the most decorated figures in women’s MMA. The 42-year-old has not lost since Taila Santos defeated her in 2024, and most recently earned a one-sided unanimous decision over Viviane Araujo to stay in title contention. Bishop (11-3) is 40 years old and hails from Missouri.

Elsewhere on the card, featherweight Timur Khizriev (145.4) faces Gabriel Braga (145.8), while lightweight contender Rafael Do Nascimento (135.4) meets Sarvarjon Khamidov (135.8). The full weigh-in results are listed below.
