Bouaddi tempted by PSG, Al-Khelaïfi ready to break the bank for Lille midfielder
18-year-old Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi reportedly has a clear preference for Paris Saint-Germain, while president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has personally contacted the player. LOSC, who hold his contract until 2029, are awaiting an "extraordinary" offer.
Ayyoub Bouaddi appears to be leaning towards Paris Saint-Germain. According to journalist Ilyes Kaddouri, the LOSC midfielder, 18, would be tempted by a move to the French capital this summer, with Real Madrid and Arsenal also tracking him.
The interest appears mutual. According to the same source, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has directly called the player and considers him « an intergenerational talent » he absolutely wants to sign during this summer’s transfer window. « The idea of joining PSG appeals greatly to Bouaddi », Kaddouri wrote on his X account.
The main obstacle remains LOSC. Olivier Létang has publicly stated his desire to keep his Moroccan international, who recently extended his contract until 2029. The Lille president has not, however, completely shut the door: « If something comes along with an extraordinary amount… extraordinary means a lot of money », he had said. The message is clear for PSG.
Bouaddi has established himself as one of the revelations of the 2026 World Cup. After choosing to represent Morocco rather than France, he quickly justified that choice with the Lions of the Atlas, shining against Brazil and impressing against Scotland, confirming a maturity rare for his age.
The deal promises to be complex on a financial level, but the convergence of interests between the player and the Paris club puts PSG in a strong position in this three-way race.
