Alberth Bahomondes wasted no time making his mark on his LFA debut, stopping Joey Hart in the first round with a thunderous overhand right that sent Hart to the canvas and drew an immediate referee intervention.

The 18-year-old Chilean prospect, younger brother of UFC lightweight Ignacio Bahomondes, entered the fight with a finish in every single one of his previous victories — and he showed exactly why that record stands. Hart came out swinging, landing an overhand right that briefly caught Bahomondes’ attention, but the teenager refused to back off and continued pressing forward into the exchanges.

It proved a costly decision for Hart. Bahomondes timed a sharp combination to perfection, capping it with the overhand right that put Hart on the floor. A brief follow-up flurry was all the referee needed to wave off the contest and hand Bahomondes the first-round stoppage.

The win moves Bahomondes to 8-1 overall and extends his current winning streak to three. More striking is the consistency: every victory on his record has ended inside the distance, a finishing rate that will not go unnoticed by UFC matchmakers.

His brother Ignacio has been competing at UFC level since 2021, and if Alberth continues at this pace, a sibling reunion on the sport’s biggest stage may arrive sooner than expected. At 18, he already carries the composure and power of a far more experienced fighter, and his LFA debut offered little reason to think his rise will slow.
