Zinédine Zidane reveals on Friday at 6 p.m., from the FFF headquarters in Paris, his squad for the second France gathering. Les Bleus face Italy on November 12 in Milan, then Turkey on November 15 in Bordeaux, as part of the UEFA Nations League.

The context is favorable: France tops Group 1 of League A with 10 points, ahead of Italy by three. During Zidane’s first gathering, Les Bleus beat Turkey (1-0) and Belgium twice (1-0 then 4-1), before drawing with the Nazionale at the Stade de France (1-1).

The squad composition will be largely dictated by a wave of injuries. William Saliba, Jules Koundé, Maxence Lacroix, Manu Koné, Ousmane Dembélé, Estéban Lepaul and Maghnes Akliouche — the latter suffering a calf injury — are all unavailable for this international window.

These absences could benefit players seeking a return, such as Lucas Hernandez, Aurélien Tchouameni, Marcus Thuram or Florian Thauvin. They could also accelerate the emergence of new faces: Joane Gadou, Castello Lukeba, Dayann Méthalie, Elie Junior Kroupi and Mathys Tel are among the candidates for a first call-up. Last month, Zidane had already launched Lucas Da Cunha, Jérémy Jacquet and Andy Diouf, clearly signaling his appetite for renewal.
