Mary Earps reveals secret pregnancy as partner Kitty Forrest gives birth to baby boy
England and London City Lionesses goalkeeper Mary Earps has announced the birth of a baby boy with partner Kitty Forrest, having kept the pregnancy entirely private until now. The 33-year-old shared the news via a video post on 6 November, the day after the birth.
Mary Earps has announced the birth of a baby boy with her partner Kitty Forrest, revealing on 6 November 2025 that she had kept the pregnancy entirely secret until the day after the birth on 5 November.
The 33-year-old London City Lionesses goalkeeper, who only publicly disclosed her relationship with Forrest in October 2025, shared the news through a video post that traced the couple’s journey from pregnancy through a gender reveal to the birth itself.
“Coming back home has been the start of a new chapter, but in more ways than one,” Earps said in the video. “I’ve been keeping a little secret from you all and I don’t think I can talk my way out of this one so I better show you.”
In an accompanying Instagram post, Earps wrote: “I can’t quite believe I’m writing this, but yesterday Kitty and I welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world. We’re absolutely over the moon and still trying to take it all in. It’s been such an emotional journey getting to this point, and we couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter of our lives as a family of three.”
The announcement drew an outpouring of messages from former England teammates, including Chloe Kelly, Lucy Bronze, Alex Greenwood, and Ellie Roebuck.
Earps, who returned to England earlier this year after a spell with Paris Saint-Germain, said she is looking forward to balancing football and motherhood. “Already a full-time footballer, and now a full-time mum too,” she wrote, adding that the baby’s name is yet to be revealed publicly.
