The 2026 World Cup knockout stage is under way, with England facing DR Congo on Wednesday and every game available free-to-air for UK viewers. Here is the full schedule from the round of 32 through to the final on 19 July.
The 2026 World Cup has reached its knockout rounds, with the round of 32 delivering a string of results — including Germany’s penalty shootout exit to Paraguay and Morocco’s surprise elimination of the Netherlands — as the tournament heads towards its final on 19 July in the United States.
Every game in the competition is available to UK viewers on free-to-air television, split between BBC and ITV, with STV carrying selected fixtures in Scotland.
Round of 32 results so far
South Africa were beaten 1-0 by Canada on Sunday 28 June. Brazil edged Japan 2-1 on Monday 29 June, while Germany were knocked out on penalties after drawing 1-1 with Paraguay. On Tuesday 30 June, Morocco beat the Netherlands on penalties following a 1-1 draw, Norway defeated Ivory Coast 2-1, and France swept Sweden aside 3-0. Mexico then beat Ecuador 2-0 on Wednesday 1 July.
