Verstappen's superyacht among fleet of luxury vessels docked for Monaco GP
Max Verstappen's 33-metre Mangusta GranSport 33, Unleash The Lion, has arrived at Monaco's Port Hercule for the Grand Prix weekend, joining a marina that includes the world's first hydrogen fuel-cell-powered superyacht and several other award-winning vessels.
Max Verstappen’s superyacht Unleash The Lion has docked at Monaco’s Port Hercule as the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix weekend gets underway. Delivered by Italian builder Overmarine this year, the 33-metre Mangusta GranSport 33 can accommodate 12 guests and a dedicated crew of five.
Verstappen’s vessel shares the marina with some of the most celebrated yachts afloat. Breakthrough, a 118.8-metre Feadship, arrived fresh from being crowned Motor Yacht of the Year at the 2026 World Superyacht Awards and holds the distinction of being the world’s first hydrogen fuel-cell-powered superyacht. Alongside it sits Kismet, a 122-metre Lürssen build that claimed the same award in 2025 and features an Art Deco underwater cinema and a spa.
The line-up extends further with the 112-metre Renaissance from Spanish yard Freire, Bernard Arnault’s 101.5-metre Feadship Symphony — which boasts a glass-bottom pool and outdoor cinema — the 101.2-metre Attessa IV, Sir Philip Green’s 90-metre Benetti Lionheart, and Oceanco’s distinctive black-hulled 81.3-metre Alfa Nero.
Among the more eye-catching displays at Port Hercule is the Stella Maris, which has a Koenigsegg Jesko hypercar and an Audi F1 car parked on its helipad and beach club deck. A McLaren Project: Endurance hypercar was also spotted arriving in Monte Carlo aboard the Lunasea superyacht.
On the track, Ferrari dominated the opening day of practice. Charles Leclerc set the pace in FP1 on home streets, with team-mate Lewis Hamilton second, before Hamilton reversed the order in FP2 to go fastest overall.
