Undefeated rivals Pasley and Berisha clash at DWCS for UFC contract
Quentin Pasley and Arlind Berisha, both unbeaten as professionals, met in the light heavyweight main event of Dana White's Contender Series at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, with a UFC contract on the line.
Quentin Pasley and Arlind Berisha, two undefeated light heavyweights, headlined Dana White’s Contender Series at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas on Tuesday night, each fighting for the chance to earn a UFC contract.
Both men entered the bout with unblemished professional records, raising the stakes in a main event that carried the weight of a potential career-defining moment for the winner.
The co-main event featured a welterweight clash between Isaac Moreno and Reginaldo Junior. Moreno brought a perfect 8-0 record into the bout, while Junior, at 11-1, carried just a single career defeat — making it another compelling contest between fighters on the cusp of the UFC roster.
The full card also included Martin Kozak vs. Christian Echols, Kwon Won II vs. Apollo Gomes, and Colton Loud vs. Christian Natividad.
Through the first four weeks of this season, UFC CEO Dana White has handed out 20 contracts in total. The fewest awarded in a single week was four, during the opening week, while the most generous haul came in week two when six fighters received deals.
