UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell files emergency custody bid over teenage daughter
Chuck Liddell has asked a Los Angeles court to grant him temporary sole physical custody of his two teenage children, alleging his ex-wife Heidi removed 14-year-old Guinevere from his home during his scheduled custodial time and relocated her to Orange County.
UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell filed for emergency custody of his two teenage children this week, asking the Los Angeles County Superior Court to order the return of his 14-year-old daughter Guinevere and award him temporary sole physical custody of both her and 13-year-old son Charlie.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Liddell alleges that his ex-wife, Heidi Liddell, removed Guinevere from his home during his scheduled custodial time and has no intention of returning her. He further claims Heidi relocated the teenager to Orange County in violation of existing custody orders, and that an earlier attempt to gain court approval to move both children to Newport Beach had already been denied.
The former UFC light heavyweight champion also accused Heidi of a broader pattern of custody violations, including failing to use a court-mandated co-parenting communication app, involving the children in parental disputes, and missing scheduled extracurricular activities.
Liddell told the court he is concerned Guinevere could miss the start of her high school year and lose her place on a volleyball team — outcomes he argues would harm her well-being. He also cited the potential impact on Charlie, describing the siblings as particularly close.
As part of his emergency filing, Liddell is seeking monitored visitation for Heidi pending a formal hearing, arguing the restriction is necessary to prevent further interference with the existing custody arrangement.
Heidi Liddell disputed her ex-husband’s account, telling TMZ that Guinevere was not abducted but instead asked to leave her father’s home of her own accord. She accused Chuck of attempting to control her since their divorce and said the children feel uncomfortable expressing themselves in his presence.
No court date for a formal hearing has been publicly confirmed.
