Barcelona will face Real Madrid on 25 October wearing a matchday shirt designed entirely by rapper and fashion designer Tyler, The Creator — the first time in the club’s history that an artist has been granted total creative control over a Barça kit.

The collaboration, brokered through Spotify’s ongoing partnership with the Catalan club, sees Tyler work alongside his celebrated streetwear label GOLF WANG. The iconic Blaugrana stripes will carry the bold GOLF logo across the chest at Spotify Camp Nou, with the Barça Femení side wearing the design a day earlier on 24 October.

Curated and directed by Tyler himself, the project extends well beyond the pitch. Inspired by GOLF WANG’s signature aesthetic — characterised by playful pastels, bold colour blocking, and vintage athletic tailoring — the wider collection includes Letterman jackets, zip hoodies, tracksuits, retro-inspired football shirts, and shorts, alongside accessories such as woven scarves, branded footballs, stickers, and co-branded Nalgene water bottles.

For collectors, the headline item will be a limited-edition match shirt produced in a run of just 1,899 individually numbered pieces worldwide — a figure chosen to honour the club’s founding year.

To mark the launch, Spotify will host an immersive event called Copa De Golf in Barcelona on 24 October, bringing together music, design, and football.

The full Spotify x GOLF WANG x Barcelona collection officially drops on Thursday, 15 October, available through GOLF WANG’s own channels, flagship GOLF stores in London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Sydney, and at official Barcelona retail locations.
