Ten Paris Saint-Germain players could feature among the 30 nominees for the 2026 Ballon d’Or, with the list set to be officially unveiled on Tuesday, September 8 by L’Équipe. If this information, reported by English journalist Ben Jacobs, is confirmed, the capital club would break its own record established the previous season with nine representatives.

Such a presence would make PSG the best-represented club in the history of the individual award, occupying a third of the 30 available places on its own. It comes after a 2025-2026 season deemed exceptional for the Parisian club, which notably achieved consecutive doubles in the Ligue des Champions and won several major trophies.

This numerical dominance could, however, backfire on PSG at the time of voting. With so many candidates from the same club, votes risk being dispersed, a phenomenon already observed in the past during seasons when Barcelona or Real Madrid monopolized the list. This scenario could benefit competitors outside the Parisian club, foremost among them Harry Kane.

The Ballon d’Or ceremony is scheduled for October 26 in London. The winner will succeed Ousmane Dembélé, crowned in the previous edition.
