Spurs agree £75m Savinho deal as Arsenal target Yildiz and United close in on Baleba
Tottenham have agreed a £75m fee with Manchester City for winger Savinho, with a further £10m in add-ons. Arsenal are exploring a move for Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, Liverpool's £50m bid for Yankuba Minteh has been rejected by Brighton, and Manchester United are ready to spend over £60m on Carlos Baleba.
Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Manchester City winger Savinho for an initial £75m, with a further £10m available in add-ons, ending a pursuit that stretched back more than a year. The agreement, reported by BBC Sport’s Sami Mokbel, represents a significant statement of intent from Spurs head coach Roberto De Zerbi, who is also targeting Manchester City’s Omar Marmoush as he looks to build out his attacking options.
City, meanwhile, have identified Brazilian winger Allan as a potential replacement for Savinho. The Palmeiras player carries a €100m release clause, though City are expected to explore whether a lower fee can be negotiated.
Arsenal are pursuing Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz as Mikel Arteta looks to address the left side of his attack ahead of a Premier League and Champions League campaign. The 21-year-old Turkey international is high on the Gunners’ list of targets after they missed out on Vinicius Jr. Arsenal have already agreed to sign Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa.
Liverpool’s summer business has hit an early obstacle after Brighton rejected a £50m offer for Yankuba Minteh. The club are stepping up their search for a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah and have also registered interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, though a significant gap in valuation remains — PSG are understood to be seeking £145m for the France international. Liverpool have separately agreed to sell Curtis Jones to Inter Milan.
Manchester United are prepared to spend more than £60m on Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba, reviving a pursuit that began last summer. The move would add further reinforcement to a midfield that head coach Michael Carrick has identified as a priority area as United aim to mount a title challenge in his first full season in charge.
