The Singapore Sprint qualifying session has added another chapter to the 2026 Formula 1 teammate head-to-head records, with Lando Norris extending his advantage over Oscar Piastri to 15-7 overall — or 10-6 when sprint qualifying rounds are stripped out — after Piastri posted the faster time in Saturday’s SQ3 by 0.133 seconds.

At McLaren, Norris has been the more consistent qualifier across the season, but Piastri has shown flashes of one-lap pace throughout the campaign. The Singapore Sprint result nudged the Australian’s tally in the right direction, though Norris still holds a commanding lead in the season-long count.

At Mercedes, George Russell and rookie Kimi Antonelli remain deadlocked at 11-11 overall, with Antonelli conceding 0.573 seconds to Russell in Singapore’s SQ3. The Italian teenager has matched his experienced teammate more often than many anticipated at the start of the year, and the perfectly split record reflects a genuinely competitive internal battle. Russell’s Azerbaijan crash — which left him 16th in Q1 — and an engine-penalty-affected Italian GP for Antonelli have both influenced the tally at various points.

Max Verstappen’s dominance over Isack Hadjar at Red Bull remains the starkest internal gap on the grid. The four-time world champion leads 14-4 overall and 9-4 excluding sprints. In Singapore’s sprint qualifying, Verstappen failed to set a lap time in SQ3 after exceeding track limits, handing that round to Hadjar by default. Verstappen also carries a separate 4-0 record over former teammate Liam Lawson from the earlier part of the season before Lawson’s departure from the team.

At Ferrari, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are tied at 11-11 overall and 8-8 in standard qualifying, making theirs one of the most evenly contested pairings of the season. Hamilton’s move to Maranello has produced a competitive internal dynamic, with neither driver able to establish a clear upper hand over the course of the campaign.

These standings are compiled exclusively from qualifying results. Where a driver was unable to set a representative lap time due to a technical failure, track limits infringement, or an on-track incident, the circumstances are noted alongside the result rather than being counted as a straightforward defeat.
