Roy Keane walks daughter Leah down the aisle at Wiltshire wedding to Taylor Harwood-Bellis
Leah Keane, 24, married Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis on Saturday at Kin House in Wiltshire, with her father Roy Keane escorting her down the aisle. The couple, who share a daughter named Iris, got engaged off the coast of Italy in 2024.
Leah Keane married Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis on Saturday evening at Kin House in Wiltshire, with her father — Manchester United legend Roy Keane — escorting her down the aisle. The ceremony marked the culmination of a relationship that has been building publicly for several years.
Leah, 24, shared photographs and behind-the-scenes footage from the day on social media, captioning one post “Last night as a Keane.” The couple got engaged in 2024 when Harwood-Bellis proposed off the coast of Italy, and they welcomed their daughter, Iris, in early December.
Harwood-Bellis has spoken openly about the influence his new father-in-law has had on his career. “He’s one of the people, barring my immediate family, who I know for a fact has only my interests in mind,” the defender said. “The advice he gives me, I know he’s got my full interests at heart, so he has helped me with decisions.”
Roy Keane has been equally complimentary about the 22-year-old. When Harwood-Bellis scored on his England debut during a 5-0 win over the Republic of Ireland at Wembley in 2024, Keane said: “It’s good for him to make his debut and he’s a bit of a goal threat. He’s a nice kid and his family have done a really great job.”
The wedding comes at a turbulent moment for Harwood-Bellis professionally. Southampton were disqualified from the Championship play-offs after being found to have spied on a Middlesbrough training session ahead of their semi-final, a ruling that condemned the club to a third consecutive season in the second tier despite winning the tie on the pitch. Harwood-Bellis will now prepare for another Championship campaign with the Saints.
