Raul Rosas Jr. extended his winning streak to six fights with a frightening fifth-round finish of Raoni Barcelos at UFC Vegas 121 on September 27, 2026, earning both men Fight of the Night bonuses worth $100,000 apiece. The bout ended at 1:38 of Round 5 when Barcelos crashed to the canvas and was immediately rendered unconscious, appearing to land on his head during a takedown. He was removed from the cage and taken to a local hospital, where he was reported to be alert and receiving medical checks.

The finish came after Rosas Jr. appeared to find a second wind in the championship round, successfully stuffing his opponent’s takedown attempts before landing an inside trip of his own that brought the contest to its abrupt and alarming conclusion.

Despite the unsettling circumstances, the UFC recognised the five-round contest as worthy of its top bonus, with both fighters rewarded for a performance that kept the crowd engaged throughout. With the victory, Rosas Jr. continues his pursuit of becoming the youngest champion in UFC history.

Two other fighters also walked away from UFC Vegas 121 with $100,000 Performance of the Night bonuses. Luis Hernandez submitted Sedriques Dumas with a guillotine choke in the first round, while Yazmin Jauregui dismantled former LFA champion Vanessa Demopoulos inside the opening frame. All four bonus recipients were announced by the promotion following the event.
