FC Nantes snatched a precious victory at Boulogne-sur-Mer (1-2) on Saturday in Matchday 7 of Ligue 2, thanks to a penalty converted by Robinet in added time. A success that allows the Canaries to leave the relegation zone, a week after their defeat at Sochaux.

The match had nearly turned into a nightmare for the visitors. Ganago opened the scoring in the 49th minute, but Binet quickly leveled things at 52’. It was ultimately the expulsion of Mion for Boulogne that swung the match: Robinet took charge of converting the penalty awarded in the aftermath, securing three points for Nantes.

In the standings, FC Nantes climbs to 15th place, just ahead of Clermont, Boulogne and Laval. The team coached by G. Poirier now sits just three points behind 5th place, currently held by Nancy, which opens the door to the promotion playoffs.
