Richarlison has verbally agreed terms with Trabzonspor and is pressing Tottenham Hotspur to approve his exit, according to Turkish transfer expert Yagiz Sabuncuoglu — a move that would reunite the Brazilian striker with Liverpool legends Mohamed Salah and Fabinho in the Super Lig.

The agreement comes days after Richarlison publicly ruled out a return to Everton, the club he left for Spurs in 2022. Speaking out on the collapsed negotiations, the 27-year-old was unequivocal: “Never again will anyone decide my future for me. If they reach an agreement between Spurs and Everton, I will return to my beloved club. My intention was to go back to the place where I was very happy, yes. But the negotiations happened only in the way certain people wanted, and it will no longer be like that. I am under contract at Spurs and will remain at the club’s disposal.”

Sabuncuoglu first reported that Trabzonspor had submitted an offer to Tottenham for the Brazilian, with a verbal agreement following shortly afterwards. Trabzonspor expert Hasan Tuncel corroborated the claim on X, writing that “serious efforts are being made to get him out of Tottenham.”

Richarlison contributed 11 Premier League goals last season as Spurs narrowly avoided relegation on the final day. Across all competitions he registered 12 goals and five assists in 42 appearances, making him one of the club’s more productive attackers despite a turbulent campaign.

Trabzonspor have assembled a striking collection of Premier League veterans since Salah’s high-profile arrival. The Egyptian has scored three goals in three domestic appearances, and has already linked up with Fabinho — his former Liverpool team-mate — who started alongside him in Monday’s win over Amed, the pair combining for the opening goal.

The Turkish club had been actively seeking an additional forward to complement Salah, with Darwin Nunez linked before that move failed to materialise. Richarlison, should the transfer be completed, would likely fill a wide attacking role at Papara Park.
