Real Madrid has set Eduardo Camavinga’s departure price at 50 million euros for the summer transfer window, according to Spanish journalist Miguel Serrano. The 23-year-old French international midfielder, under contract until 2029, does not fit into new Real Madrid manager José Mourinho’s plans and has been invited to find a new club.

Arriving from Rennes in summer 2021, Camavinga was long considered one of the pillars of Real Madrid’s future midfield. But Mourinho’s arrival on the Real Madrid bench changes things, and the Frenchman is among the players the club is willing to part with during this transfer window.

Several English clubs are reportedly interested in Camavinga’s profile, whose market value remains significant despite his status as a luxury substitute in recent seasons. At 50 million euros, Real Madrid hopes to complete a financially acceptable deal on a player recruited for around 30 million euros four years ago.

This matter is part of a broader summer overhaul for the Spanish capital club. After two seasons without a major trophy, Madrid’s board intends to make several adjustments to the squad, between targeted signings and departures of players on the fringes of Mourinho’s project.
