PSG Women validated their qualification for the 2026-2027 women’s Champions League by overturning Frankfurt 5-1 in extra time on Wednesday evening in Poissy, after being held to a 1-1 draw at the end of regular time.

The Parisians had already experienced the same setback a week earlier in Germany, where the first leg had ended with the same 1-1 scoreline. Back at home, they again struggled against the Germans for 90 minutes before capitalizing on their numerical advantage to make the difference.

It was a liberated PSG collective that then took control of the match. Kanjinga scored a brace, Karchaoui did the same, and Ajibade completed the scoring to transform what looked like a catastrophic scenario into a clear and decisive qualification.

With this victory, PSG joins OL and Paris FC among the French representatives competing in this edition of the European competition. Three French clubs will therefore be present at the 2026-2027 women’s Champions League.
