Norris to open up his personal life in new three-part Prime Video docuseries due in 2027

Lando Norris is set to give fans the most intimate look yet at his life off the track, with a three-part documentary series provisionally titled Lando confirmed for release in 2027. The project is produced by Box to Box Films, the London-based company behind Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive to Survive, and is directed by Ben Phethean.

While the series will follow Norris as he defends his maiden Formula 1 drivers’ championship through the 2026 season, its primary focus is his personal life rather than the racing itself. The official synopsis promises “unprecedented access to a more personal side of his life”, covering everything from a summer holiday with friends to quieter family moments and his journey from karting in Bristol to the top of global motorsport.

“I’m really excited to be doing this,” the 26-year-old said. “We’ve been filming for a while already and I’ve had a lot of fun with it.”

Norris is no stranger to documenting his world. Beyond his appearances on Drive to Survive, he has maintained his own YouTube vlog series, LandoLOG, offering behind-the-scenes glimpses into his life. But he says the new project goes considerably further.

“I already share a lot of what I get up to, but this is going to give people more access than ever before to my life away from racing,” Norris added. “I’ve been really involved in the whole thing, so hopefully people will enjoy seeing more of what goes on behind the scenes.”

The synopsis also references the influences that shaped Norris’s career, citing MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi among his early idols, and frames the series around a central question: what does life actually look like when you reach the pinnacle of your sport at 25?

Clare Little serves as producer alongside executive producers Tom Keeling, Warren Smith, and Jon Smith for Box to Box Films. Filming is already under way, with the series scheduled to arrive on Prime Video in 2027.
