That’s what Spanish show El Chiringuito claims, confirming the existence of a disagreement between the two players during the past season and asserting that the situation has since normalized.

The Spanish media outlet does not specify the exact origin of the friction between the Frenchman and the Englishman, but indicates that Mourinho made easing dressing-room tensions one of his priorities upon returning to lead the Maison Blanche. The Portuguese coach reportedly intervened directly with both players to defuse the conflict.

A visible sign of this rapprochement, according to El Chiringuito: the embraces exchanged between Mbappé and Bellingham during several goal celebrations since the start of the season. A notable change in tone compared to the tensions that reportedly weighed on the Madrid squad last season.

On the sporting front, Real Madrid has recorded three wins in three Liga matchdays under Mourinho’s direction, who is thus beginning his second spell on the Merengues bench encouragingly. After two seasons without a title, the club’s supporters now await this regained cohesion translating into strong results in La Liga and the Ligue des Champions.
