Misfits Boxing offers Dana White and Eddie Hearn $10 million to settle rivalry in the ring
Misfits Boxing co-founder Kalle Sauerland has confirmed a written $10 million offer to UFC CEO Dana White and Matchroom chairman Eddie Hearn to fight each other in a boxing match, saying terms with Hearn are close while White has yet to commit.
Misfits Boxing co-founder Kalle Sauerland has confirmed that his promotion has submitted a written $10 million offer to UFC CEO Dana White and Matchroom Boxing chairman Eddie Hearn to settle their long-running public feud inside a boxing ring.
Speaking to IFL TV, Sauerland said negotiations with Hearn are already at an advanced stage, while White has received the offer but has not yet committed to accepting it. Sauerland also revealed he had revised his original proposal, dropping a $20 million winner-takes-all structure in favour of a flat $10 million guarantee.
“A lot of people asked me if it’s bulls**t and I said, ‘No it’s not, I’ll pay $20 million for that’ so we put it in writing to Dana and Eddie, called Eddie and actually with Eddie, we’re not far off, I think he’d confirm that if you ask him on the terms,” Sauerland said. “I’m not gonna lean out the boat because I’ve not totally tied it up with Eddie but we’re close with Eddie and Dana has had it in writing. And I changed it too from a $20 million winner takes all to a $10 million straight offer now.”
Sauerland floated the idea of staging the bout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the night following Tyson Fury’s fight with Anthony Joshua, though he acknowledged that no venue or date has been finalised.
White and Hearn have exchanged pointed public criticism throughout 2026, with much of the tension centred on their competing involvement in promoting and producing the Fury vs. Joshua card. Hearn has said he would welcome a public debate with White, while White has voiced frustration at being repeatedly drawn into commentary on their rivalry.
Whether the bout materialises remains to be seen. Sauerland’s written offer gives the story formal weight, but with White yet to respond and even Hearn’s terms not fully locked in, the fight is still some distance from being made.
