Mercedes and adidas have launched the fan version of the metallic silver jacket that George Russell and Kimi Antonelli wore throughout the 2025 season, with retail prices ranging from £220 to £450 in the UK and $300 to $750 in the US.

The jackets first caught widespread attention when the two Mercedes drivers were spotted wearing them in garages and paddocks during the season’s hottest race weekends, standing out sharply against the team’s standard kit. The fan demand that followed was significant enough that adidas Motorsport’s Instagram announcement — captioned “The jacket everyone has been waiting for” — has since accumulated over 160,000 likes.

Two versions are available through both the adidas and Mercedes stores. The standard Unisex 2026 Jacket Silver is priced at £220 or $300, while the 2026 Pro Jacket Silver commands £450 or $750. Both are built around an oversized silhouette with a stand-up collar, a zip front, and a lined woven construction that leans closer to high fashion than traditional motorsport apparel.

The shell is made from 100% polyurethane with a 100% recycled polyamide inner lining. The design draws from adidas’s CLIMACOOL jacket concept, originally engineered to keep drivers comfortable in intense paddock heat. The team-issued versions worn by Russell and Antonelli include cooling agents and built-in fans to regulate temperature, features that are absent from the retail editions.

The jackets launched at the end of September and have been selling quickly since.
