Mbaye wants to leave PSG this summer despite contract until 2028
Author of a goal with Senegal at the 2026 World Cup, Ibrahim Mbaye wishes to leave PSG this summer. The 18-year-old winger, underused by Luis Enrique, is attracting interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa.
Ibrahim Mbaye wants to turn the page on PSG. According to Foot Mercato, the 18-year-old Senegalese winger has expressed a desire to leave the Paris club during the next summer transfer window, despite a contract running until 2028.
Back from the 2026 World Cup, where he played four matches with Senegal — including a goal scored against France — Mbaye is no longer satisfied with his limited playing time under Luis Enrique. His entourage, however, remains reluctant about a hasty departure.
The situation has not gone unnoticed by several English clubs. Tottenham and, more concretely, Aston Villa are reportedly monitoring the player, whom Transfermarkt values at 30 million euros.
PSG will therefore have to decide: keep a talent developed at the club but eager to leave, or cash in on a player whose contract still runs for three more years.
