Luis Enrique equals Blanc with 126 wins at PSG, record within reach on Friday
By beating Lyon 2-0 in Matchday 9 of Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain allowed Luis Enrique to equal Laurent Blanc at the top of the list of most successful managers in club history, with 126 victories each.
Luis Enrique has joined Laurent Blanc at the top of the list of most successful managers in Paris Saint-Germain history. PSG’s victory over Olympique Lyonnais (2-0), Monday evening in Ligue 1, gave the Spaniard his 126th win on the PSG bench, matching his French predecessor.
Arriving in Paris in summer 2023, Luis Enrique quickly established himself among the club’s major figures. His trophy cabinet speaks for itself: two Ligue des Champions titles won, in 2025 and 2026, making him the most decorated manager in Parisian history on the European stage.
Laurent Blanc’s spell between 2013 and 2016 remains a reference point domestically, however. The former France national team manager secured three consecutive Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France trophies and three Coupe de la Ligue titles, imposing unchallenged dominance in Ligue 1. His limitations in the Ligue des Champions, however, weighed on his overall record.
Luis Enrique is now just one victory away from becoming the sole record holder. PSG travel to Le Havre this Friday at 7 p.m., an opportunity for the Spaniard to reach this symbolic milestone and definitively close the Blanc chapter in the club’s record books.
