Liverpool interested in Endrick, but Real Madrid shuts the door
According to ESPN Brasil, Liverpool has approached Real Madrid about a loan deal for 20-year-old Endrick. The Spanish club quickly dismissed any discussion, though the situation could evolve during the January transfer window if the Brazilian lacks playing time.
Liverpool has made contact with Real Madrid to explore a loan move for Endrick, but the Madrid board has immediately shut the door, according to ESPN Brasil. The 20-year-old Brazilian striker is not for sale, and the club does not wish to loan him out either.
Endrick has just returned from a successful loan spell at Olympique Lyonnais in the second half of last season, where he scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists in 21 matches. Back at Madrid as planned, he finds himself facing particularly intense competition in attack: Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Junior, Yan Diomandé, Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz are competing for the three available places in José Mourinho’s starting eleven.
Liverpool is not the only club to have expressed interest. Roma, Aston Villa and Manchester United have also been linked with the player in recent weeks. But Real Madrid is maintaining a firm and consistent position: Endrick is part of the project, and he himself intends to fight for a starting place.
The situation could nevertheless evolve in January. If the playing time of the Brazilian international — 21 caps to his name — proves to be as limited as in the previous season, a winter loan departure cannot be ruled out. For now, the matter is closed on the Madrid side.
