Hamilton swaps Barcelona podium for Milan catwalk at Ralph Lauren's Fashion Week show
Days after claiming his first grand prix victory for Ferrari in Barcelona, Lewis Hamilton attended Ralph Lauren's Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show at Milan Fashion Week, taking a front-row seat alongside actors Colman Domingo, Tom Hiddleston, and Henry Golding.
Lewis Hamilton traded the Ferrari pit wall for the front row of Milan Fashion Week on Tuesday, attending Ralph Lauren’s Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show just days after securing his breakthrough first grand prix win for the Scuderia at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
Hamilton arrived in a £1,300 pale beige cotton-cashmere herringbone shirt paired with £620 high-waisted linen trousers, completing the look with a hand-tooled leather Western-style belt featuring an ornate silver and gold three-piece buckle, chestnut-brown Chelsea boots, a silver link chain necklace, diamond stud earrings, and several rings.
The seven-time world champion joined an exclusive guest list that included actor Colman Domingo — with whom Hamilton co-chaired the 2025 Met Gala — alongside Tom Hiddleston, Henry Golding, and Scott Eastwood.
Fans on Reddit were quick to respond to images from the event. “Part-time F1 driver and full-time Aura farmer,” wrote one, while another added: “Winning races, fashion shows and a girlfriend?! We are so back.” A third noted: “Looks like he should be on a safari not in a Ferrari.”
Hamilton has long been one of motorsport’s most prominent figures in the fashion world, widely credited with transforming the Formula 1 paddock entrance into something closer to a runway. In a recent interview with Vogue France ahead of the 2026 season, he explained the thinking behind his carefully considered wardrobe choices.
“I do like to be really intentional and thoughtful with what I wear,” Hamilton said. “I think it’s a good opportunity with your on-duty style to kind of elevate up-and-coming, emerging talent. There are so many amazing designers. Storytelling is so important. With that, you’re able to then tell a story with what you’re wearing. It’s an opportunity to showcase important causes as well.”
The Barcelona victory — Hamilton’s first since joining Ferrari ahead of the 2025 season — marked a significant milestone in what had been a difficult opening chapter with the Italian constructor. His appearance in Milan suggests the Briton is in no mood to let the moment pass quietly.
