Red Bull has revealed special-edition helmets and race suits for Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort on 21–23 August, with Hadjar’s design paying direct tribute to the broken trophy that made him a viral sensation last season.

Both helmets draw on traditional Dutch Delftware aesthetics — blue and white colour schemes layered with intricate floral motifs — to mark what will be Zandvoort’s final appearance on the Formula 1 calendar before it drops off the schedule.

Hadjar’s helmet carries an extra layer of personal history. At the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix, the then-Racing Bulls driver claimed his maiden F1 podium, becoming the youngest Frenchman in the championship’s history to stand on the rostrum. During the post-race celebrations that followed, he accidentally smashed his Delft Blue trophy — and the moment spread rapidly across social media. Rather than quietly moving on, his 2026 helmet features an illustration of the shattered trophy on the back, alongside a cartoon capturing his wide-eyed reaction to the incident.

Royal Delft confirmed at the time that a replacement would be made, but Hadjar made clear he had no intention of letting go of the original. “I want my broken one,” he said. “It’s part of my podium journey. The new one doesn’t smell of alcohol, like the champagne and whatever.”

Asked about the whereabouts of the broken piece, he admitted he had lost track of it. “Honestly, man, I don’t even know where my trophy is, my broken trophy. The team is taking care of it, I guess. I left it in good hands.”

The Dutch Grand Prix, Zandvoort’s farewell to the F1 calendar, takes place across the weekend of 21–23 August.
