Luis ‘Pantera’ Guerrero delivered the biggest victory of his bare-knuckle boxing career on Friday night, defeating former BKB lightweight world champion Jarod ‘Kid Gatti’ Grant by unanimous decision in the super lightweight main event of Bally’s Fightnight by BKB at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi.

The fight lived up to its billing as a momentum-swinging contest, with Grant’s championship pedigree tested throughout before all three judges sided with Guerrero at the final bell.

In the middleweight co-main event, undefeated Rowdy Montgomery (3-0, 1 KO) produced his own upset, defeating reigning BKB light heavyweight champion Cub Hawkins (10-2, 9 KOs) by unanimous decision. Montgomery dropped Hawkins in the fourth round, only for Hawkins to respond with a knockdown of his own in the closing seconds. Despite the late drama, all three judges scored the bout 47-46 for Montgomery.

Brandon ‘The Shredder’ Shavers (6-1, 6 KOs) provided the night’s most emphatic statement, knocking out German Ramos just 10 seconds into the opening round for the fastest finish on the card.

Cody East (3-1, 3 KOs) stopped former heavyweight champion Ike Villanueva in 62 seconds, spoiling what had been billed as Villanueva’s retirement bout. Claudia Zamora added a second-round technical knockout over former lightweight champion Monica Medina to her record.

Jeff Denton, Terrell Glynn, Doug Freeman, and Jerry Dutchover all recorded stoppage victories on the undercard, while Miranda Barber earned a unanimous decision over Aquasha Rapley to round out the card.
