Christophe Galtier was sent off at half-time in the Neom–Al-Fateh match on Sunday during matchday 7 of the Saudi Pro League after making a middle-finger gesture toward the opposing bench. The score was 1-1 at that point.

The former PSG and Lille manager, 60, apologized after the match but is still expected to face sanctions from the Saudi Football Federation.

Without their manager on the bench in the second half, Neom’s players managed to turn the situation around. They ultimately won 4-2, driven notably by a brace from Alexandre Lacazette, the former Olympique Lyonnais striker.
