Lewis Hamilton’s first grand prix victory for Ferrari has been given the full documentary treatment, with the Maranello outfit releasing a behind-the-scenes video of the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix that has already drawn more than 130,000 views and an outpouring of emotion from fans worldwide.

The seven-time champion ended a challenging 2025 transition season without a win, making his breakthrough in Barcelona all the more significant. Hamilton secured the result by executing a three-stop strategy that ultimately proved decisive against Mercedes, delivering Ferrari a victory that resonated far beyond the result sheet.

The documentary-style footage offers an unprecedented look at the preparations, tension and celebrations inside the team across the race weekend. Fan reactions in the comments reflected the weight of the moment. “This was so damn sweet and emotional and well deserved!” wrote one viewer. Another added: “I’m tearing up. Lewis is my favourite driver since I was a child, but my favourite team has always been Ferrari, so this moment is very special to me. Happy to be TeamLH and Tifosi! Still we rise and Forza Ferrari.”

The celebrations extended to Hamilton’s relationship with teammate Charles Leclerc, with fans noting the warmth between the two drivers. “Happy to see Charles celebrating with LH, class act all round the paddock,” one commenter wrote, while another observed: “After all the tough times, it’s so heart-warming to see Ferrari and Luigi on the top step.”

The victory has also reshaped the championship picture. Hamilton now sits second in the drivers’ standings, 41 points behind leader Kimi Antonelli, and has not ruled out mounting a title challenge as the season progresses. The next opportunity comes at the Austrian Grand Prix, scheduled for 26-28 June at the Red Bull Ring.
