Tony Ferguson will defend his Misfits Boxing middleweight title against Kenzo Biyong on September 26 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, the promotion confirmed.

Ferguson, 42, claimed the interim middleweight title with a stoppage victory over Salt Papi at Misfits 22 in August 2025 — his first combat sports win in more than six years. He was elevated to undisputed champion after a unanimous decision over Warren Spencer at Misfits Mania the following December. His most recent outing came in June 2026, when the former UFC interim lightweight champion suffered a tech fall loss to Arman Tsarukyan at RAF 10.

Biyong arrives from a different athletic background. The former professional soccer player transitioned into the jiu-jitsu world and most recently competed at UFC BJJ 7 in April, where he lost via submission to Raphael Ferreira.

The September 26 card is headlined by a boxing match featuring former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo, who faces Deen the Great in the main event.
